Constant improvement and high performance are widespread in our performance-oriented society. People strive to always bring out the best in themselves in the hope of praise, recognition and better chances of success. However, if these endeavours are accompanied by perfectionist tendencies, this can have negative consequences. Constantly striving for perfection often leads to disappointment, frustration and anger, especially when we fail to live up to our own standards.
Have you ever had the feeling that no matter what you achieve, it's never good enough? If so, then this workshop is just what you need to break out of perfectionism.
In this workshop, you will:
- learn about the causes and possible effects of perfectionism (both internal and external),
- learn the difference between harmful perfectionism and healthy striving,
- try out various methods and strategies to achieve greater serenity and develop a healthy approach to perfectionist tendencies,
- find opportunities for personal learning experiences through group work and self-reflection.
