Walk and Picnic for International PhD students

Let’s enjoy spring together! Join us for a relaxed evening walk and picnic with your fellow international PhD students. Whether you are new in town or have been here for a while, this is a great opportunity to meet your peers, exchange stories, and simply enjoy some time outdoors.

We will start at the Würzburg Residence with a short talk ("Impulse"). Afterwards, we will take a walk through beautiful Würzburg and finally settle down for a cozy shared picnic in the gardens of Marienberg Fortress (in case of rain, we will settle down at an alternative location).

Please bring your own food and drinks — and, if you like, something to share with others. As evenings can get chilly, we recommend bringing a warm sweater and a picnic blanket to stay comfortable.

• Location: Martin von Wagner Museum; in front of the “Toscanasaal”

Walk

• Meeting Point: Frankoniabrunnen; in front of the Würzburg Residence
• Start Time: 6:00 PM
• Duration: approximately 1–1.5 hours

Picnic

• Location: Gardens of Marienberg Fortress (alternative location in case of rain)
• Start Time: around 7:00 PM
