What does sustainable work and research mean to you? (not only in the ecological context)

Sustainable work means my career, my life, my dream and my duty to enable me to work in alignment with my intrinsic values. Sustainable research means passion, impact, and responsibility. I hope my research could bring values to my students, to business partners, to government decision-makers, to local community.

In your opinion, what needs to be done to make the world more peaceful?

It is critical to promote cross-cultural exchange especially among youth to develop deep understanding of the meaning of civilization in today’s turbulent and challenging environment. We must learn from past catastrophes and wars through dialogue with respect of history.

How do you plan to share the results of the forum in a lasting way?

I would like to keep further networking and communicating with other alumni around the world and bring back all valuable insights and experiences from the forum to my colleagues and students in my school. I would also consider to learn the organizing of the event and promote similar events in my school, to enable our alumni to play more active roles on pushing sustainability education in my school and university.

Which animal would you consider the better human?

I believe a better human from an animal point of view should be the bee.
