European Adventure: From Charme EU to EUSAF Summit
10/24/2024Alisia shares her journey with Charme EU and her inspiring experience at the EUSAF summit, connecting with students shaping Europe's future.
Alisia studied at the University of Frankfurt and now does her Masters degree with Charme EU. At the moment she is in Utrecht. In the future she would like to work in a Think Tank in the area of Sustainability/Climate research. She attended the first edition of EUSAF in Warsaw from 12 – 14 of September – the meeting of student Ambassadors elected by the European University Allicances.
What do you think about about Charme EU?
I like that you can do your Masters in 1,5 years instead of one year. A big advantage is also to get your degree from five Universities instead of one.
At the beginning of EUSAF: Why do you participate in EUSAF and what are your expectations?
I was suggested by the student council of Charme EU and am keen to get to know students from other Aliances and learn about their projects. I am also interested in the focus of the other Aliances and the possibilities they offer (degrees, etc.). I am european from the heart and to meet other students with the same values and from other countries and areas is the best thing you could do in my opinion.
After two days – what was your experience?
I am overwhelmed of the engagement of my student collegues – I will bring back many new ideas and best practices for enhancing the students engagement home to my Alliance.
