Our mission statement: The University of Würzburg creates space for health

Dear employees,

"The University of Würzburg creates space for health" - this mission statement was developed by the steering group of the "Gesunde Hochschule" in 2020.

We aim at establishing a comprehensive university health management system at the University of Würzburg.

To give you a better idea of what this means, we have presented our mission statement in graphic form. The topics that are important to us are shown as building blocks in the picture on the right side. We will continuously work with these building blocks, rearrange them and build new structures, processes and activities, always taking health into account.

We strive to make the working environment - i.e. your workplace, the working atmosphere as well as the interaction with your colleagues and the executives - conducive to health.
At the same time, we want to encourage you to reflect on your own behavior and make a variety of offers that can support you in making healthier choices.

Together, we will succeed in creating a new culture of health at our university.
