About

The Career Centre was founded in the summer semester of 2007 as a staff unit of the university management and today consists of five employees with different specialisations as well as student assistants and interns. As Department 2.5, the Career Centre has been part of the Service Centre for Students since 5 May 2023. There it complements the existing advisory services of the Central Student Advisory Service and the Service Centre InterNational Transfer with the classic advisory approaches of Career Service work.

It is our mission to support and guide students of the University of Würzburg at any given point along their student life cycle to prepare a successful job entry. Every semester, we offer a varied workshop and lecture program as well as career consulting.

We are proud of over 17 years of Career Centre work, during which we have been able to offer a diverse and ever-growing programme. Our network is also constantly growing. We are networked with employers, other career services and the Alumni Office. We are also a member of the Coimbra Group and a contact point for other internal and external organisations.
