Virtual Exchange Climate Justice: From Inequality to Inclusion

The Erasmus+ project Climate Virtual Exchange aims to raise awareness of climate change and climate justice in Europe and the Southern Mediterranean. Universities from 14 countries support young people in an intercultural dialogue to contribute and expand their knowledge on climate change and climate justice, and to implement their own climate projects in small groups under guidance.

The topic of climate justice will be addressed through different focal points. The following are currently planned:

  • Introduction to the climate crisis and the concept of climate justice
  • Climate change and inequality
  • Power and climate action
  • Climate justice through a personal lens
  • Global Politics and Climate Policy
  • Critical Lens on Climate Initiatives
  • Climate Communication and Advocacy
  • Climate Crisis Strategies: Mitigation, Adaptation and Resilience
  • Your climate action

For active and successful participation in this Virtual Exchange Programme, participants will receive a digital badge and a certificate of participation. It is also possible to earn 5 ECTS credits in the ASQ and FÜG pools.

The next Virtual Exchange Climate Justice: From Inequality to Inclusion will take place from 14 October - 20 December 2024.

The Career Centre is accompanying this course with two additional dates:
The first meeting with the Career Centre, in which we would like to present the concept to you, will take place on 15 October 2024 at 2 p.m. c.t. via Zoom.
The second meeting with the Career Centre, in which we would like to reflect on the event with you, will take place on 7 January 2025, also at 2 p.m. c.t. via Zoom.
We will announce the link before the event.
