Pathology

In pathology, contact with China exists primarily via Chinese staff (doctoral students and post-docs), but also in isolated research projects. Several years ago, a DFG-funded project aimed to connect German and Chinese pathology more closely. This led to an exchange of scientists and several research trips to China.

Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry cooperates with Peking University within the framework of a mobility grant on the topic of 'Intercultural aspects of social motivation'. Due to the pandemic, however, the planned bilateral working meetings could only take place virtually. Professors from both universities published together and visited each other. Further joint research projects were funded by the DAAD and the Chinese Scholarship Council.
