From 2011 to 2020, Technical Physics cooperated with the University of Science and Technology in Hefei and Shanghai on various research projects, e.g. "Fabrication of quantum dot samples with microavities". This also resulted in many joint publications. There is also a Memorandum of Understanding between Hefei and Würzburg. In the past, Chinese-German working meetings were organised. In addition, post-docs and other researchers from Hefei have been able to visit the University of Würzburg.
