Certificate for Sustainability and Global Responsibility
Sustainability is often primarily associated with environmental protection. We at GSiK want to capture this term in all its social, cultural, and economic dimensions. Solutions that are aimed towards our future can only be achieved through a global dialogue and the formulation of common goals.
Never have our intercultural skills been so pronounced and in demand as they are today. We consume goods from all over the world and travel around the globe. We often overlook the fact that our enthusiasm for intercultural encounters leaves huge ecological footprints.
Practical commitment
In the case of practical commitment, you become active in the area of sustainability yourself. You provide evidence of this by means of a certificate of practical commitment.
You can choose the organisation where you will spend at least five hours. The important thing is that the organisation must have a plausible connection to sustainability. Only then can your commitment be recognised for the additional qualification "Sustainability and Global Responsibility". If you are unsure, just ask us.
The following organisations are examples of where students have completed their practical work. However, you can also get involved in other organisations:

- Environmental centre of the city of Würzburg
- Environmental centre in the KjG-Haus Würzburg
