Functional (il)literacy - Same Notion Different Understandings

The lecture will explain how the concept of functional illiteracy is conceptualized and suggest a common framework for further research into functional (il)literacy. The lecture also addresses the question which cognitive abilities best predict the learning success of adults who are functionally illiterate. The lecture takes place via Zoom.
