Wuerzburg English Language Program (WELP)
der Philosophischen Fakultät I

The program is addressed to students from all countries and disciplines who wish to augment their intercultural skills and to gain a better understanding of Germany as their host country. Classes are open to both students from abroad and German students of the University of Würzburg Participants are free to select and attend one or more classes according to their preferences and interests. The Interdisciplinary and internationally orientated classes are designed to promote intercultural competence and advance more profound insights into key aspects of German civilization: History, Politics, the Law, the Economy, the Arts, etc. Moreover opportunity is given to interact and enhance/practice English-language proficiency inside and outside of the classroom. This project is funded by the Philosophische Fakultät I.
