International Relations

The International Office is the central reference point for international activities at the University of Würzburg. We have a long tradition of welcoming international students and scientists from all over the world and we offer support and advice on a range of issues such as:

• Providing information on study opportunities abroad and organizing these studies abroad;
• Maintaining the University of Würzburg's international academic relations and contacts;
• University Memorandums of Understanding and ERASMUS agreements etc.
• Advising and supporting international students, scholars and teachers;
• Admission and immatriculation of international students;
• Helping other departments and institutions of the university to coordinate their international activities;
• Study opportunities at the University of Würzburg;
• Scholarships for German students for study abroad programs and scholarships for international students studying in Würzburg;
• Cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
• Coordination of the European Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, Teachers and Staff (ERASMUS) and other international mobility programs
