Higher Semester

This site provides information and application forms for international applicants WITHOUT a German citizenship and WITHOUT the German "Abitur". International applicants WITH a German Abitur have to apply online.

Important! New application procedure starting summer semester 2024:

International applicants will need a preliminary review documentation (VPD) from uni-assist to apply at the University of Würzburg.
The University Application Service for International Students (uni-assist) processes international student applications as an external partner for the University of Würzburg.
Please check whether you need a preliminary review documentation (VPD). You must apply for it at uni-assist BEFORE you apply to the University of Würzburg.

Subjects with admission restrictions (Several subjects at JMU are restricted, e.g. we have more students applying than we can admit. Therefore, you can only apply for ONE restricted subject.)
