Why Würzburg?

There are strong ties between JMU and the city of Würzburg. Home to three universities - JMU, the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and the University of Music Würzburg - and just over 35,000 students, Würzburg is a vibrant and youthful city with a total population of around 135,000. Its location in the scenic Main-Franconia region, right in the heart of Europe, and its compact size make Würzburg an ideal place to live. And the concerts and exhibitions organised by JMU.
