TransnetBW is making the electricity infrastructure fit for the energy world of tomorrow. We are transforming overhead lines into European power lines and securing a future-proof, sustainable energy supply. Our motivated and dedicated employees are committed to this task every day.

The project office for our major SuedLink project is located in Würzburg. The 700-kilometre-long direct current underground cable link will transport sustainable energy from the north of Germany to the south, thus ensuring a stable power supply.

Dr. Florian Exl gives an exciting insight into the diverse tasks and career opportunities at SuedLink: from technical professions, to commercial activities, to positions in the environmental or communications sector. He shows how employees at TransnetBW are helping to shape the energy transition and are working every day to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and beyond.
