This lecture focuses on typical application processes in Germany. The following questions will be addressed:
- How to identify your competences and where to find job advertisements that fit to your profile as well as to your ideas for the future?
- What needs to be included in the CV, what can be left out?
- What characterizes a powerful cover letter?
- Why and how to use
- speculative applications?
- What needs to be taken into account due to AI in recruitment and CV parsing?
Experts from the Career Centre and Language Centre will be the instructors of this lecture. Other guests include Emma Phelan and Dr. Darlene Murphy, experts from the Language Centre.
