Early Career Development

In order to do excellent research, one also has to promote excellent junior scientists themself. One of its priorities of the Rudolf Virchow Center is therefore promoting young talent.

The degree course Biomedicine is supervised together with the Faculties of Biology and Medicine. Small groups of students are trained specifically for research in the very interdisciplinary field of biomedicine.

In order to ensure a high standard of quality in doctoral studies, all doctoral candidates are supervised in the "Graduate School of Life Sciences" at the University of Würzburg.
