Help with securing third-party funding
JMU researchers can obtain third-party funding by submitting projects to the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The SFT provides advice and support with applications for funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF). These two funds are the EU´s main instruments for reinforcing economic, social and territorial cohesion.
We can also help with applications for funding for ZIM cooperation projects (ZIM is the central innovation programme for small and medium-sized enterprises - "Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand" - of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action): Funding is available for cooperative R&D projects between businesses or between businesses and research institutions that are aimed at developing innovative products, processes or technical services. Applications will have to be submitted to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The programme is not restricted to any particular technoloy or industry.
