Financial Assistance Under the German Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG)
Who is eligible?
German students who can demonstrate financial need and meet the criteria described in the BAföG Act. Subject to certain conditions (§ 8 BAföG, information available in German only), financial assistance under the BAföG Act may also be available to international students.
