New Workshop: Discover Education in Namibia (27 November, 4 pm)
11/18/2024Are you curious about how education systems differ around the world? In this workshop, our current income Lily-Ann Möller – a teacher education student at the University of Namibia (UNAM) – will guide you through the Namibian school system.
What to expect from the workshop:
- An overview of the structure and key phases of the Namibian school system
- Insights into how learner-centered education is emphasized in the curriculum
- A discussion on the transition to English as a medium of instruction starting in grade 4
- How ICT skills are integrated into the learning process (ICT=Information and Communications Technologies)
- The challenges and opportunities in the transition from secondary to tertiary education
