Tasks

The Language Centre is a central institution of the University of Würzburg. In this function, it is responsible for the following areas:

1. Cross-faculty, study-related foreign language courses for students of all faculties.

2. Provision of foreign language modules for the key qualification area of the BA and MA degree programs at the University of Würzburg (ASQ pool), for the interdisciplinary area of teacher training programs (FÜG), and as a compulsory elective component in study regulations.

3. Study-related German courses for foreign students, doctoral candidates, academics, and employees of the University of Würzburg, as well as acceptance of the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang (DSH).
