Das Projekt verbindet Altorientalistik, Vorderasiatische Archäologie und Digital Humanities, um neue Einblicke in die Welt der Hethiter zu gewinnen. Geplant sind die Erweiterung des Hethitologie-Portal Mainz (HPM) um Linked Open Data, die Nutzung von Sprachmodelle (LLM) zur Rekonstruktion fehlender Textsegmente; eine verbesserte Geolokalisierung von Keilschrifttafeln und Siegeln aus Boğazköy-Ḫattuša für räumliche Analysen sowie Formenerkennung für die automatische Klassifikation hethitischer Keramik.
