Lotta Björklund Larsen is Research Fellow at University of Exeter Business School and holds a PhD in social anthropology.
Her ground-breaking studies of taxation from an anthropological perspective brings to fore people’s relation to state, market, and fellow citizens. Her research has engaged with tax authorities, corporate and private taxpayers, as well as tax avoiders. The modalities of taxation among different groups of peoples as well as within different scientific disciplines is of particular interest for her.
