Axel Prestes Dürrnagel participates at Mozambican conference on the “The Right to the City"

LoSAM Research Group member from Subproject Geography, Axel Prestes Dürrnagel, participated in a panel on “The Right to the City - Safeguarding Urban Agriculture” (O direito à cidade e a salvaguarda da agricultura urbana). The conference was organised by the Centre for the Right to Environment, Biodiversity and Quality of Life (Centro de Direito do Ambiente, da Biodiversidade e da Qualidade de Vida - CEDAB) of the Faculty of Law at the University Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo in cooperation with UN-Habitat Mozambique. More than 60 national and international researchers, practitioners, and activists debated along three days in 15 panels on “The Right to the City and the Challenges of implementing the New Urban Agenda in Mozambique” (Direito à Cidade e os Desafios na Implementação da Nova Agenda Urbana em Moçambique).
