IRTG 2991 – Cross-Cultural Competences Workshop “To India!”

On 6^th of February 2025 members of the International Research Training Group (IRTG) 2991 participated in a Cross-Cultural Competences workshop held by Anna Scarabel of the Chair of Indology (Universität Würzburg). During the five-hour workshop the students interactively explored the challenges of good and productive communication between people of different cultural backgrounds, with a special focus on Indian–German collaboration. The knowledge and awareness gained in this workshop will help the PhD students from the University of Würzburg to navigate Indian customs and social norms during their study period abroad and with their Indian collaboration partners. The intercultural training was designed to help students adapt, connect, and make the most of their intercultural experience.
