1. CONNECT – Digital networking and exchange
- Development of a central digital project platform that connects universities, schools, student teachers and teachers from ourpartner countries.
- Network platform: Profiles of partner universities (with video presentation), current and former students, teaching staff etc.
- Ideas for research collaborations
- Ideas for meetings and conferences
- +Interactive tools (e.g. forums, chats, video conferences) for the easy exchange of teaching materials, didactic concepts and best practices, meetings and conferences
- Enables continuous, transparent international co-operation and encourages the transfer of knowledge and experience internationally between universities and maybe schools.
2. MEET – International meetings and events
- Regular (virtual and physical) meetings to consolidate international contacts and gain new ideas for teacher education and training.
- Summer/Winter Schools & Workshops: Joint training programmesfor student teachers and teachers from different countries to explore teaching concepts in school and university contexts (GoTEd+-Week).
- International Teacher Conferences: annual conferences on innovative teaching methods, future skills and intercultural competence.
- Encouraging intercultural competences and personal contacts that can be directly transferred to teaching and university didactics.
3. SUSTAIN – Sustainable cooperation and SDGs
- Establish long-term partnerships that support the sustainable development of teacher education internationally, including the SDGs.
- Long-term exchange programmesbetween universities and schools worldwide to develop curricula and projects together (e.g. integration of local SDG topics into lessons).
- Ongoing evaluation: Regular feedback cycles to ensure that collaborations are not just one-off projects but become established in the curriculum and school development in the long term.
- Integrating global and sustainable topics and perspectives into the training and further education of teachers who make pupils aware of future challenges.
4. PUBLISH – Joint research and publications
- Collaborative scientific and practice-orientated publications on innovative teaching methods and international education projects.
- Research networks: Initiation of international research groups that deal with current issues in teacher education, e.g. multiculturalism, foreign language teaching advancements…
- Open access strategy: Publication of results and best practice examples in freely accessible formats to promote the transfer of knowledge for teachers worldwide
- Sharing successful concepts, enhancing scientific reputation and providing practical material for teachers at schools and universities.
