Actively shaping the energy transition - working for the transmission system operator TransnetBW (in german)

TransnetBW is making the electricity infrastructure fit for the energy world of tomorrow. We are transforming land lines into European power lines and securing a future-proof, sustainable energy supply. Our motivated and committed employees are committed to this task every day.

The project office for our major SuedLink project is in Würzburg. The 700-kilometre-long underground direct-current cable link will transport sustainable energy from the north to the south of Germany, thus ensuring a stable power supply.

Dr Florian Exl will provide an exciting insight into the wide range of tasks and career opportunities on SuedLink, from technical professions and commercial activities to positions in the environmental and communications sectors. He will show how TransnetBW employees are shaping the energy transition and working every day to ensure a secure electricity supply in Germany and beyond.
