Lecture: ‘Fun, success and impact - changing companies as a consultant!’
Climate change, species extinction, social exploitation and other consequences of human activity are pushing humanity to obvious limits and have triggered a rethink in the way we treat people and the environment. Businesses and companies have also begun to organise their activities sustainably. Ingdilligenz management consultants help their clients - from start-ups to DAX-listed companies - in the process of this sustainability transformation. They show companies how sustainability can be integrated into their strategy, organisation and processes, how this can create new opportunities in the competition for markets, investors and employees and how this can enable economic success in harmony with people and the environment. Data and digitalisation play an important role in this transformation. In his presentation, Dr Marcus Dill, Co-Founder of Ingdilligenz, also presents the history of the company and his own career from scientist to software developer to repeatedly successful founder. He describes the diverse potential of a career as a management consultant with a purpose.
Dr Marcus Dill studied natural sciences at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, graduating with a doctorate, and subsequently worked as a researcher at MIT and as a software developer at SAP. He has now been a successful entrepreneur for two decades and advises companies and organisations on topics relating to digitalisation, governance, analytics and sustainability.
